Wilson Burn 100 Countervail is a new edition of the Wilson Burn 100 from 2015. As opposed to its predecessor, this racket features the fantastic new Countervail technology, which ensures improved play and handling.
In contrast with the old model, this one only weighs 300 grams which means a slight weight reduction only. Other relevant properties like the frame size (645 cm²) or the string pattern (16x19) remain unchanged. In other words: if you have played with its predecessor, you won’t need much time to get used to the new edition.
Better impact absorption, added control and more enduranceAs the name suggests, the innovative Countervail technology is a very prominent feature in this new racket.
It consists of a flexible carbon coating that considerably reduces the vibration felt in the racket frame. This not only improves the feel of your gameplay: Precision and endurance are also improved, as the vibration at the moment of impact is significantly reduced.
Developed for heated baseline duelsWilson Burn 100 Countervail was specifically designed for players who like to apply pressure from the baseline. The racket ensures optimised force transmission, which makes for much more powerful shots – even from the back of the court. The racket handles very well in gameplay and offers great feedback from your shot.
